We want your
memories to be special. And, although a professional photo will
reproduce best, choose the photo that best reflects your fond memories.
If it is not
professional, you may consider retouching to enhance it. Often,
removing a background or distracting objects can brighten an image. A
plain light blue, grey, black or white background is nice. It will
often give an amateur portrait a more professional, sharper appearance.
We encourage you to lfind a favorite photo that will bring timeless
memories of a cherished loved one. | |
| We remember our loved ones by their facial features and expressions. Because of this most
porcelain tiles are created in "bust" portraits. A "three-quarters"
portrait is to the waist. It is best in larger and mid-sized tiles.
Full figure portraits are usually recommended on large tiles. Again, we
realize how special your photo is and want to insure your cherished
memories in a porcelain cameo.
Porcelain
tiles with one person are usually best in a vertical format. For more
than one person, the tile can be either vertical, (up and down), or
horizontal (across) -- depending on the original photograph.
Porcelain
portraits are available in many sizes and various shapes. The most
common shapes are oval and heart shaped. Although some monuments lend
themselves to the rectangle or circular shapes. Currently our common
sizes and shapes are:

• 2 x 2-3/4" (#5size)
